We are officially one week away from our Opening Day! We have what we hope to be a very special one planned...Players are to assemble behind town hall on Sunday April 7 at 11 am. Teams will gather together, and hats and jerseys will be distributed there. At 11:30, the "parading" will begin to Acotes Field. Kids should wear regular sneakers, and not cleats. We will have our traditional Opening Day ceremonies, and then the kids will have some fun games/contests on the fields (details will be given to coaches as well as announced on the PA that day). There will be food trucks there, and other fun surprises! Also, there will be a majors game directly after the festivities (majors teams to hear from their coaches on those details). Throughout the week, we will share more about Opening Day - please keep an eye on the Glocester Little League Facebook page!
Teams have all been assembled at this point, and all coaches are assigned. If you haven't heard from them yet, you will soon. All tee ball, A ball, and AA division schedules have been posted on the website. AAA and Majors schedules are being worked on, but we are still working with other leagues we will be playing to finalize scheduling. We will email you as soon as those are completed.
